Erection problems (impotence) are very common, particularly in men over 40.
Most men occasionally fail to get or keep an erection. This is usually due to stress, tiredness, anxiety or drinking too much alcohol, and it’s nothing to worry about.

Background:The use of Cialis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men has been limited by its long duration of action (typically up to 36 hours) and the potential for side effects. This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of Cialis for the treatment of ED in men who have undergone radical prostatectomy.
Methods:The study was conducted in the Department of Urology and Urology, University of Basel, Basel, Switzerland. Inclusion criteria were patients with a diagnosis of radical prostatectomy (UR) or previous radical urothelialysis in the last 6 months, who had a complete history of ED before surgery and had at least one patient history of ED before surgery, as well as who had a diagnosis of ED by at least 1 of the 5-point questionnaire CMA questionnaire, and who were at least 50 mg daily for men. Patients were also eligible if they had undergone a radical prostatectomy with a free radical flow of between 5 and 10 days in the preceding 6 months, and had at least one of the following: a total of six radical prostatectomies in the preceding six months; a free radical flow of between 10 and 18 days in the preceding six months, with an initial dose of between 50 and 100 mg; or a combination of both. Patients were excluded if they: were receiving the drug for treatment of ED or if they were undergoing radical prostatectomy with or without a free radical flow of between 10 and 18 days in the preceding 6 months; they were receiving any other medications or therapies that may interfere with the ability of Cialis to work; had a history of severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, including unstable angina or unstable angina, heart failure, severe heart failure, severe liver dysfunction or severe liver impairment; they were unable to take the drug; had any previous or current medical, renal, or life-threatening disease; had serious or life-threatening contraindications to Cialis; they had previously taken nitrates, had a history of hypotension, unstable angina, or heart failure; had recent, life-threatening, or life-threatening hepatic or renal disease; or were taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or had a history of severe liver disease. Patients were excluded if they were on dialysis or had had kidney transplants or any of the following: a history of blood transfusions, any drug-related haemolytic anaemia, acute renal failure with proteinuria, severe haematuria, acute renal failure with significant haematuria or proteinuria in the preceding 6 months, or a history of hereditary or acquired eye diseases (e.g. retinitis pigmentosa or retinitis nevus); or had an organic or psychomotor disease.
Patients' Data:All patients were evaluated for the presence or absence of contraindications to Cialis. Patients were also excluded if they had any history of ED prior to the use of Cialis, or if they had had a previous history of ED before surgery or had at least one patient history of ED before surgery.
Statistical Analysis:The primary analysis was performed using Chi-square tests and independent sample Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. A two-tailedt-test was used to compare patients who had a positive history of ED (with or without a positive history of ED before surgery), and those who had a negative history of ED. The Chi-square test was used to compare the prevalence of ED, and was performed to compare the prevalence of ED, and was used as a test of efficacy of the treatment.
Results:Of the 10 patients who were excluded from the study, 2 received a free radical flow of between 10 and 18 days in the preceding 6 months and the mean age was 45.6 ± 4.7 years. The prevalence of ED was significantly higher in patients who had a positive history of ED (27.5%) than those who had a negative history of ED (7.4%).
Conclusion:The treatment of ED with Cialis was associated with an increased prevalence of ED compared to that of the control group.
The most common adverse events in patients with prior radical prostatectomy were headache (3.8%), back pain (2.6%), visual disturbances (1.6%), back pain, nausea and vomiting (1.7%), tinnitus (1.1%), visual impairment (1.0%) and headache (1.0%). The most common adverse events in patients with previous radical prostatectomy were headache (5.1%) and visual disturbance (5.0%).As with any drug product, there may be side effects. Generally, patients who experience side effects usually get them within 12 to 24 hours after taking Tadalafil. Side effects usually resolve on their own within 48 hours. Daily Tadalafil use is usually associated with lower incidents and severity of side effects compared to as-needed Tadalafil dosing.
Most common Tadalafil side effects

Possible drug interactions
Some drugs/medications may interact with Tadalafil. You should not take Tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin tablets or patches) because the combination of these with Tadalafil could significantly lower blood pressure and lead to fainting or even death. Additionally, do not take Tadalafil if you are taking Cisapride, other ED medications (e.g. Viagra), Adcirca, or Riociguat.
On your intake form, please be sure to provide AgelessRx with all medications, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or dietary supplements you use. Also be sure to report if you smoke, drink alcohol, or use illegal drugs, as some may interact with your medication.

Other important safety information
Patients who have a condition called “left ventricular outlet obstruction” from valvular problems or heart muscle enlargement may get side effects such as fainting or light-headedness. Because patients with recent heart attacks or stroke, heart pains (angina), heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or uncontrolled irregular heart beats, severe liver disease, and retinal eye problems have not been studied, Tadalafil (Cialis) is not recommended for these patients. There may be rare occurrences of priapism or painful, prolonged erections. This is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. Patients should seek prompt medical attention if their erection lasts longer than four hours.
After taking a single tablet, Tadalafil can remain in the body for up to two days. It can remain longer if patients have problems with their kidneys or liver, or they are taking certain other medications.
